Wisconsin is home to many wonderful museums that
offer exhibitions and activities for both children and adults. A
list of WFM members, comprising many of the finest Wisconsin museums,
can be found here. 
The dual mission of the WFM is to
increase and
disseminate knowledge pertinent to the profession and to encourage
cooperation among museums in the state.
WFM supports these musums
through educational workshops,
regional roundtables and professional development grant opportunities.

Wisconsin
Museums Week and International Museum Day
The
Wisconsin Federation of Museums (WFM) is calling on all Wisconsin museums
and historical societies to coordinate their efforts to celebrate Wisconsin Museums Week (May 16-24, 2009) and International Museum Day
(Monday, May 18, 2009). For more
